Hi everyone – as part of our new website we are trying to establish an online archive of photos videos etc… With that in mind we have a certain amount of photos of our newer productions – mostly courtesy of Colin Shanahan of Digcol Media - but we’re looking for backstage / onstage or any photos at all that anybody may have Panto related. If you have them on digital image if you could email them to us that would be brilliant, or maybe you might have a few at home that you could scan. We don’t even mind collecting them and scanning them and sending them back to you – they will be looked after and will become part of our permanent archive online for everyone to see. Drop us a message by any of the methods about – facebook, twitter or email if you have anything you think may be of interest. While we’re on the subject if anybody has any old programmes / cast lists etc.. kept at home we’d love to get a scan of those as well.

Here at the Panto Society we’re always trying to better ourself – so we decided to bring ourselves up to date with a new website. Its going to build up nicely over the next few months – with our archive of images of past productions growing, theres also audio of reviews of past productions (which will grow this year too) and a little bit of history about where we came from. We’re going to add lists of past productions, past production teams, cast members etc, and will also be adding a video and audio channel later in the year with different features… more about that in due course. You can like us on facebook, follow us on twitter, email us or google+ us (does anybody use that out there?)…  Theres handy buttons beside every post so you can share it wherever you like, and you can comment on everything if you have any suggestions for us – we’d love to get any suggestions you have. Later in the week we’ll have our new App that will work on all mobile devices – more about that later in the week. Its going to be an exciting year, and we’re looking forward to it immensely.

We are delighted to confirm that this years production will be the magical adventure ‘Aladdin’ – a firm family favourite. It promises to be our biggest and best production to date, so watch here for all details as they are confirmed. We are currently finalising our dates for December and will let you all know as soon as we’ve finalised everything with the Theatre and our production team! Its going to be another great year!
